Wifi access in Ireland gets cheaper
eircom has announced that it has significantly reduced the cost to access wireless broadband hotspots. Effective immediately, eircom's new pricing structure offers customers savings of up to 70%, making Ireland's leading wireless hotspot provider now the cheapest provider of wireless broadband hotspots.Time & New Price

In addition to using scratch cards to access hotspots, eircom offers monthly subscriptions for E12.10 (inc VAT) for eircom broadband customers and E30.25 (inc VAT) for eircom's fixed line customers. This means that eircom customers can now avail of unlimited broadband access from just 0.35c per day. Once a hotspot subscription order has been placed with eircom, subscribers will be issued with a unique username and password that will provide access to all eircom wireless hotspots. There is no minimum contract period for the subscription and the fee is added to customers existing eircom phone bill
